It is the third installment in the Rush Hour series, following "Rush Hour" (1998) and "Rush Hour 2" (2001). The film stars Jackie Chan as Inspector Lee of the Hong Kong Police, and Chris Tucker as Detective James Carter of the Los Angeles Police Department.
