The findings of this study highlight the significance of the first day of school in shaping students' experiences and perceptions. The results suggest that students are eager to make a positive start to the new academic year, but may also be experiencing anxiety and uncertainty.
This study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods. A survey was administered to a sample of 100 students, followed by in-depth interviews with 20 students. The survey instrument consisted of open-ended and multiple-choice questions, designed to gather information on students' feelings, expectations, and concerns about their first day of school.
The first day of school is a critical event in the lives of students. By understanding students' experiences and perceptions, schools can take steps to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
